Descriere
Built mostly on top of the former CET Militari, it is the only privately owned and operated thermal power station in Bucharest. Originally built to supply power to the industrial area in western Bucharest, this new power station is the only one built after 1990. Using modern technology, most burnt gases are recycled yielding about 80% fuel efficiency.
Having a power station close to industry requiring large amounts of electricity is common in Romania.
