Cotmeana Monastery is considered the oldest monastery of the Wallachia whose first documentary attestation dates back from 1292. Radu I, king of Wallachia built here a small wooden church, which burned short after. Mircea cel Batran raised, between 1387 and 1389, a new walled church, dedicated to the Annunciation and Beheading of St. John the Baptist.
After visiting the monastery, walk on the side road, pass by the entrance to the cemetery and a barrier. On the left side of the road, in a hole of a huge stump, you will find the cache.
Good luck!
