Beschrijving
Creating a new dam and reservoir at Goleşti required a new railway bridge across the river Argeş. The new bridge has 5 steel girder spans, 2 of them actually above the water. A smaller bridge on the north-eastern bank crosses the service road along the bank. Water flow is significant as this is only the tail of the lake.
Warning: tracks in use. DO NOT ATTEMPT crossing unless the coast is clear. Be stealth. Prefer coming from the north-eastern end and use maximum stealth. There is a railway watchpost not far away to the south-west because of a road crossing.
When attempting to retrieve the box:
- harder, but safer is to descend between the iron plates.
- easier, but very dangerous would be across the side and down
